CBAA Alumni Reunion Postponed Until 29 & 30 August 2008
The planned reunion for UW Army ROTC and the Cowboy Battalion Alumni Association (CBAA) is postponed until 30 August. We are proposing we push this to 29 -30 August. On Friday 29 August the Cowboy Battalion will be hiking Medicine Bow Peak with over 80 cadets. All alumni and family and friends are invited to attend this event. We conclude with a cook-out at the base of the mountain. The following day, 30 August is the first UW football game of the year against Ohio. Army ROTC in Wyoming Hall will be open at 1000 and have an open house for alumni to attend. We will also shuttle any alumni over to the stadium.
We are postponing the reunion due to only having 7 confirmed attendees and we are going back to the drawing board to determine the best time of year to get the ROTC alumni together. Even though we are postponing this event, we still need your support. The Cowboy Battalion remains one of the best ROTC programs in the nation and we believe alumni support is one reason why. Please continue to ask your classmates to join CBAA an support the Cowboy Battalion. CBAA traditionally supports Medicine Bow Hike, Army 10 Miler Team, Bataan Death March Team, and provides two scholarships each year.
We are very sorry if this complicates your travel schedules. ROTC will be open Friday 11 July from 0730-1630 for anyone wishing to stop in and see their old stomping grounds.
